Meg is an accredited social worker and trained group facilitator based on the Mornington Peninsula. With over 10 years’ experience in the social work and community sector, Meg has worked alongside children, families, parents, and adults experiencing adversity, with a strong focus on safety, healing, and empowerment.

Meg holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a double Master’s qualification in Social Work and Mental Health Practice. Her areas of specialisation include mental health, trauma, family violence, parenting and neurodivergence. She draws on a range of therapeutic approaches in her work, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual or group.

The Willow Group was created by Meg in response to listening deeply to the lived experiences of parents impacted by family violence and recognising gaps within existing systems of support. Her work is grounded in a belief that people already hold wisdom, strength, and capacity for change, and that access to knowledge and skills can be a powerful catalyst for healing.

Meg’s practice is guided by her core values of respect, curiosity, honesty, accountability, vulnerability, and courage. She strives to create spaces that are safe, inclusive, and empowering, where people feel supported to reconnect with their strengths and move forward with confidence.
